To be honest I don't have any pictures from thanksgiving but I had a wonderful time.
Lou and I woke up and immediately had to prepare our dish for the family. It was a gourmet Mac n' Cheese. One dish had smoked Gouda, Gruyere mixed with bacon (the manly dish) and the other had a double creamy French Brie and cheddar. It took us a while because we got ready sooooo slowly. Embarrassingly I convinced him to do 2 facial masks so he was running around without his glasses.
We did our laundry that morning (a rookie mistake) and ended up having partially damp clothes to wear to the events. Lou's pants were HELLA MOIST lol
We barely finished the food in time (maybe 12:30???) and rushed out the door to be at my aunts house at 1pm.
Lou got to meet my entire extended family and was extremely well received. So much so, that by the end of the night everyone was smooching his cheeks and hugging him and telling me to bring him to every occasion. The food was a success as well. After 4 hours of eating and taking a break and then eating again, we wrapped up at my aunts house and proceeded to go to my grandmother's on my fathers side. There was a lot of tension for my family, as my grandmother is usually a harsh and strict individual. We arrived and everyone was in the middle of a game of scrabble. Lou was extremely polite and respectful to my grandmother and what was incredible is that she didn't criticize him but welcomed him with open arms. It was really surprising considering she would usually not associate with anyone outside of the family.
We returned home and watched movies, Lou was extremely happy but extremely tired so we fell asleep fairly quickly.
The next day I woke up and went home really early. Lou stayed home and packed so he could go to CT and have his thanksgiving, which from what I heard was very sweet and nice and Lil's bday was ballin'
