Awkward.: tree, misty wip, shrine goings, etc.

I finally put up the tree I got!!

Currently decorating now.

Quick update:

We got buried in snow recently and black ice was everywhere. I called work on my way over and they told me not to come in that day so I ended up turning around. However, that night, Louis and I decided to go to the gym because the snow eventually stopped and all the plows were out. We've been going regularly lately and our bodies tend to constantly be sore but I think it's helped keep both of us in good spirits and feel like we're actually being productive.

Here's a view of the streets when I was stuck in gross roads. I had someone drive me because I was super nervous about sliding.

Another update is that my Misty WIP made it's way onto two facebook pages for pokemon fans (probably stolen off tumblr). The general consensus was all comments were by creeps or jelly girls OR people who thought it was a legitimate cosplay and critiqued. But I did find the boob comment amusing:

While I was initially pissed off that someone swiped my photo, I was actually flattered by that fact that 4.5k people liked it on one page and the PokemonPride page had mostly positive comments. It was really flattering!

Next update is that a while back Lou and I went to La Salette shrine and it was gorgeous, They have really big light displays.

It was really cold so we only stayed about an hour or so. They had a giant light show too which we accidentally found. It blasted TransSiberian Orchestra during the show LOL.

I also got us a cute lil tree for the bedroom!
