It's been a while blogspot!!!
These past few months I have been writing tangibly rather than digitally. It's been a crazy summer.
With fall fast approaching there are 2 MAJOR things happening.
1. I'll be going to Japan to visit Hiroki and check it out to see if it's worth teaching
2. I'll be moving across the country. I made a promise to come back for some cons on this side though LOL
The second one is relative to the first but seems more likely because I honestly don't want to teach that much nor be out of the country for a year.
I promised Hiroki I would visit him and the fact that it's happening is unbelievable. I've been obsessed with going since I was little and it's almost overwhelming how much I appreciate the opportunity. I'm going to get so much Monster Hunter shit LOL
The big part about #2 is that no matter what happens or where we go in CA, Louis wants to be a part of it. We've discussed it at length and I'm forever lucky to have someone so supportive join me in my adventures. I know that if for whatever reason we DIDN'T date anymore, there's no going back. We're in this together no matter what and I have a life long friend and part of my family in him.
I met so many people in LA that I love and I'm so excited to begin a life there. Every penny saved is for LA and every penny spent is toward that goal.
In addition, online commissions have been kind to me and it's incredible the amount of positive feedback and requests I've received. I have debated starting an artist booth at a con to see if anything sells. Maybe its a good idea?? Idk but being able to make money at what I love is a very profound feeling.
It just feels nice feeling like I'm exactly on the road to my dreams finally~
