So this past weekend I went to the Fall Festival in RI with Lou. It was perfect weather but the whole weekend was off to a rough start~
When I got off work Friday night, I had been dropped off so Billy could use my car for whatever he was doing. So I was dropped off and the original plan was for Louis to pick me up but I hadn't packed for the weekend. I was picked up and driven directly to a bar where both my parents and my uncle met up. I began getting agitated because my mother said we'd go home within 5ish minutes and I was supposed to meet Lou for 9pm. 30 minutes go by and I tell Lou to be patient but I hear my father say to my mom, who is obviously bummed that I'm beginning to freak out "Don't worry, don't be sad honey, her plans don't matter." And immediately I text Lou to come straight to the bar. Upon finding out he's coming, my father immediately tries to get everyone to leave the bar and leave me stranded. I was so angry I got really upset at the bar and had to leave so people didn't see how flushed I was. I was taken home and had to call Lou AGAIN to meet me at home.
When he got there I ran up to him, then packed really fast and jumped in his car. I couldn't get away fast enough.
He was really sweet despite how angry and short tempered I was and how pouty and bratty I was with him. He bought my a pumpkin latte, something we always share together now and my mood improved because I know he was trying to cheer me up.
The weekend got a lot better after that.
fucking mushy as fuq;; you've been warned

Around 10am we woke up and Louis got up and MADE ME A FUCKING GLORIOUS BREAKFAST OF KINGS. Steak and eggs and a cool herb-y bread thing. Sooooooooo delicious. We sat on the couch and watched Saturday morning cartoons, mostly trippy spongebob shows and adventure time. I was so full I wanted to pass out again but instead we got ready for the fair.

Hnnng steak and eggs so delicious.
We took a while to get ready and left around 11:30 and got there around 12:15. It was a really nice place and the fairgrounds were nicely spaced out. We walked all over and got shaved ice which tasted amazing, unlike normal sno-cones and really sour. We walked all over and through all the art galleries and the vendors and got a lot of honey sticks, which Lou hadn't tried. I'm happy he liked them!! ^_^
Around 1 or 2pm, I mentioned wanting to go on the Swan Boats but was nervous they might be pricey. Louis pushed me for it and got us both admission for it and instead of a swan boat, we got one shaped like a dragon because it was more manly LOL. We had about a half hour of pedalling around. He hadn't been on a swan boat in a long time so I was excited when he wanted to go on with me.

There was a really pretty gazebo at the end of the lake. I wish we could have stopped the boat.

I took about 100 pictures of Lou. I always forget to take selfies of us together.

More Loubear. He needs to send me our together selfies so I can post 'em. Look at that cute ass face.

Turtle!
While we were boating we passed this turtle on a floating stick like 3 times and he was just chillin' like nobodies business. Sassy turtle. We also chased a lot of ducks and a weird pelican thing.
One of my favorite parts of any fair is carousels. I love merry-go-round carousels and I told Louis we had to go on at least once. It was quite a lovely set up. We were probably the only ones our age on there but it didn't matter because I loved it.

Louis demanded to get a white stallion.

Before we took off.

In motion. This is one of my favorite pictures of him because the blurred background is perfect. His hair is getting so long!!! (OvO)
After the carousel we got more shaved ice. This shit was incredible. We got a pineapple mango fusion and it was soooooooooo smooth and lovely. Almost like a mixed up sorbet!

Cutie spoons
We ended up going around the fair again and entered the RI Watercolor Society gallery and looked around. I loved it. All the watercolors were gorgeous and beeautifully made. Some artists were outside and I was really jealous of their talent (I realize they were almost 40 years older but I was still jealous).
We got duck burgers after and I loved them. (Unfortunately we found out much later that I was allergic to duck .__.)
After being full and satisfied, Louis decided it was an excellent idea to take a nap outside on my lap. I was tired too but I let him rest his head. I think he fell asleep at one point. I ended up taking creeper photos and showing them to him when he woke up. How darling he looks though.
Sleepy. I have a mini-obsession with the mark under his right eye.
I know its a mole or beauty mark as my mother always calls them and that he sometimes tells me he wants it gone but I absolutely love it. It's just so characteristic. I hope it never causes dermatological problems because I would miss that perfect mark and I'd miss kissing it every night I stay over without him noticing.

Dat fucking perfect jawline tho.

more of that fucking jawline though. I know he's self conscious and this may seem like a shallow comment but Lou's face has thinned out a but and I think he looks a lot more mature age-wise with the dominant jawline. I posted it because I like it.
After his nap we walked around some more and then returned home. At this point I suddenly felt very ill, my stomach suddenly became extremely achey and had a sharp pain within it that felt like stomach acid cutting through my organs. It was terrible. I got back and sat on a chair in the fetal position while Louis rubbed my back and forced water down my throat. Steve, being the sweetheart he is, ran out and got me pepto which I drank a ton of. Eventually after an hour of almost tears and gripping my abdomen for my life, I finally was able to move without feeling like I was going to puke and moved to Lou's room where he rubbed my back some more and tried his best to help me. I eventually fell asleep and when I woke up a few hours later, he was there next to me and I felt loads better. I told my mother about this via text as it was happening and she mentioned that when I had duck when i was little, I had the same reaction. (I didn't remember duck whatsoever). So apparently my stomach was having some sort of spasm out of allergy.
She suggested I get saltines and I was not ready to move so while I was laying in bed trying to find some energy, Louis ran out and got me giant cartons of saltines and some gatorade and after having that in my stomach I felt like a new person. It was great. We spent the rest of the night relaxing and watching Trigun before falling asleep ridiculously early for us (10-11pm??), only a few more episodes to go.

The series is getting really good, but really dark. Just introduced Knives and Legato recently.
The next morning we woke up but stayed in bed for ages because neither of us wanted to move. We kind of rolled around and pretended to almost get up but then didn't. When we DID, it was about 1:30 and we showered and got dressed and laid around some more and left around 2:15 to go to the fair next to my home.
We checked it out for literally 4 seconds and then just went back to my house and ate shitty junk food in my backyard until he had to leave :(
The rest of the day was spent being nostalgic. But it made both of us pretty determined to appreciate the time spent together and to continue having nice adventures. Next stop, Halloween themed everything. We made a pact to watch scary movies every night of October and October 1st is next Tuesday!! We also need to save the weekend for corn maze, pumpkin picking, apple picking and haunted hay rides. Unfortunately I also conned him into making stupid lame crafts with me because I love them so we'll probably deck out the bedroom and the apartment with cheesy paper crafts and themed food. (He's never had hot apple cider, wtf?!) I'm hoping to get a final trip to the zoo in there before winter too.
Pretty pumped for the next few months!!
