Tuesday-Friday

Okay so here is the long awaited long post~ (currently writing...)

Tuesday I slept over in Providence because I was travveling to CT the next morning so I could chill with the grandparents. Unfortunately we overslept and ended up arriving at around 2pm. Louis's mom was picking up his grandfather from an appointment but it ended up taking 4 hours to complete. I had wanted to go shopping desperately to prepare for my NYC trip so I was disappointed because he had ended up having to wait around. However, dinner was spectacular.

Louis's mom and his grandmother had made noodles and bamboo and a spinach dish which were glorious and taro and red bean buns (which I devoured). They also made a good amount of ~*~*~LOBSTER~*~*~ aka my favorite seafood ever and I had about 4 claws of them. So delicious!
We had only planned on staying a short while but we ended up stuck there repairing his grandmothers computer. A simple fix really, but took some time over thinking things to actually see the solution.

We left and decided to walk around Mohegan Sun.

I  had never been inside and it was pretty nice! They had this weird swirly LED thing and a light up waterfall. We got ice cream and then I headed back home.

Wednesday~ After the jump break "Read more link"
Using the "read more" links now so it'll be easier for me to scroll through.

On Wednesday I went to Cape Cod and met up with my aunt who I never hung out with and is of no blood relation to me. She had invited me kayaking before and it came out of nowhere but I was so excited and happy to get close to SOMEONE from my dads side of the family. We went all the way up to Orleans in Cape Cod and it was really nice. Her friend who was a 78 year old man had provided us kayaks. His house was all wooden and HUGE. It was a really nice neighborhood with mansions everywhere. He told me he had that house (which had obviously been expanded) since his grandfather was around (so 1800's) and he had a 300 year old painting in his basement he showed me which I mentally jizzed over. It was a painting of ships in rough waters created by THOMAS FUCKING LUNY probably worth millions of dollars, in front of my eyes. It wasn't in the best condition but I talked to him about it for a while.

We went down to where the kayaks were and there was a giant boathouse which was really cool on the inside!!

We then went kayaking which was really fun but really tough. The wind was strong and we were fighting the current the whole time so my arms definitely got a workout! I almost flipped my boat a few times too. I saw some horseshoe crabs and an eel.

The 78 year old man, named Bob was probably the most interesting person I've ever met too. At 14 he ran away from home and at 18 he worked on a cargo ship and traveled to Europe where he hitchhiked everywhere with his backpack of belongings for a year until he bartered for a motorcycle, which became his home. He went to every European country and traveled all over the world on little money. I love meeting people like that because they have so many stories to tell and it just makes me want to adventure.

I got home and showered and passed out immediately.
On Friday, I went biking before work and my arms hurt like crazy from kayaking the day before. However I noticed my waistline was carved a bit deeper so I'm going to continue with the cardio.

After work Louis picked me up, which I felt bad about because my car is in terrible shape right now.
We went to CVS and bought hair dye. I let him pick and he went with a dark brown, which I was surprised about because I know he likes vivid red hair normally. We returned to his house and put the dye in and then watched sherlock once more. We only have one episode left and then I'm rewatching Free! and Attack on Titan with him so he can be a raging homo.

Anyway, I rinsed out the dye and it turned into a reddish chocolate. I couldn't get decent pictures of it last night but it was definitely a change. I hated it at first. I thought it looked stupid, but once I fully dried it, I loved it and so did Louis. He told me to stick with it for awhile. He himself decided to grow his hair out again after looking through old pictures. Our dark hair can match LOL.

Sorry everyone, comparison pictures tomorrow~
